Summer camp for kids in the South Bay Cities of Palos Verdes, Redondo Beach, Hermosa Beach, Torranc
With summer break weeks away you're scrambling to find a safe, fun and enjoyable summer camp here in the South Bay. You need a program for your kids that will give you a few hours of peace for three weeks over the summer. I have the answer: Techakids.
Techakids is a nonprofit educational foundation located in South Torrance has its annual summer camp for elementary and middle school students in the South Bay communities of Palos Verdes, Redondo Beach, Hermosa Beach, Torrance, Manhattan Beach and the surrounding areas.
This year Techakids summer camp will be held on the beautiful Seaside Elementary campus in South Torrance Students will learn coding, robotics, game design, virtual reality programming, and designing and programming wearable technology in our Maker Camp. Yes, that’s right--it wasn't a misprint. Students will program their own clothing using computer codes that they will learn in our summer camp Makerspace class!
We will conclude with our creative space class script writing, movie production, movie editing, YouTube streaming, and Instagram, STEAM gaming and streaming, and producing their own digital soundtrack. Techakids will have all sorts of creative activities starting Monday June 25th through July 19th
You know what the best part of this is?...Its cheaper than a babysitter!
