Virtual Reality Programming For Kids - The Future Is Here.

If you are a parent of a 10 year old, you probably are well aware of the game Minecraft and Roblox. You see your kids play with their Ipads as they navigate a cartoon world for hours on end. It keeps them busy and hopefully do not distract them from their day to day homework.... LOL.

Well, the future is here and its a new era of Virtual Reality (VR). VR immerses the gamer into a 3D environment where they can interact with objects and characters and actually control the point of view and camera angles by simply moving the device such as Ipad, mobile device or VR Glasses.

The application in games is proven but the "real world" applications are just as exciting. Imagine a doctor doing a "virtual surgery" from thousands of miles away by controlling a joystick to do a delicate brain surgery operation. You've seen them in movies and its coming soon!

At Techakids, we see this as an opportunity to introduce our students to the Virtual Reality Programming. The kids can "create" their VR games, presentation and stories ! The possibility is endless and we have just seen the tip of the iceberg. This will open a whole new world of creative, analytical and educational learning environment full of excitement and fun.
